The Sunday night quiz had been the longest running music quiz in the UK, that is until 22nd December when I hosted my last ever quiz at Bedford.
After nearly 34 years and 1710 quizzes on a Sunday night, it’s time to hang up my headphones and time to move on.
The people who were there will have heard some of my reasons, but all I can say is, I gave it my best to keep it exciting, but it seemed to be in vain.
I want to thank all those who had supported it over many years and have enjoyed it. I used to, but not anymore I’m afraid. Despite the nonsense that has been posted on social media, I am NOT retiring, I am just no longer continuing in Bedford on a Sunday evening through lack of enjoyment.
