Chris Cornell would have celebrated his 60th birthday this week.

He was the frontman for three bands, Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog as well as a solo career.  His biggest hit as a solo artist was You Know My Name which was the theme tune to the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale. On 18th May 2017, at the age of 52, he took his own life, it was exactly 37 years to the date that one of his early heroes took their own life too by the same method of hanging, and that was Ian Curtis of Joy Division.
